I'm having my 17 week old Morkie puppy groomed on Saturday @ Posh Pets on Flatbush Avenue in Prospect Heights. Has anyone used their services before? If so, what was your experience?

  • My friend uses them for his yorkie and they're good but expensive if I'm remembering correctly...
  • I thought Yorktese was the preferred name? It's at least the better one. :-)
  • Back in the day, they were called mutts. Before you were allowed to charge 1K+ for them.
  • I'd search brooklynian dog grooming posts. A while ago, someone claimed they saw a dog get hit by a dog groomer. I cannot remember which dog groomer place was mentioned.
  • I have no personal experience with Posh Pets, however I DO get my dog groomed at Paws in Paradise on 5th ave+8th st and have been very pleased. I've heard about a dozen people at the dogpark say they use them as wel and everyone has been happy. It might be worth a gander.
  • Yes...my husband also refers to him as a mutt. They've upgraded to "designer breed." I kinda prefer Morkie...and I didn't pay $1k for him. It was way less. I don't believe any dog that's not full breed should be anywhere near $1k. I'll check out the pet section.
