Some Sprint Cell Towers are Down

I just got off the phone with Sprint. Several of their cell towers are down (they don't know what the problem is). If you are in the following zip codes, you may have interruption of service (I got an "analog roam" message when I tried to make calls today):

My area code isn't on there, but my reception has always been utter shite. I want an iPhone so bad!

Get a Palm Pre (if on Sprint). Not as good as an iPhone, but a decent substitute.

I like my iPhone, but (in my experience thus far - I've had it for a little more than a week) reception is poorer than what I experienced with Sprint.

I was going to get the Pre, but the quantities were too limited at the time and I needed a phone NOW.

I had Verizon and reception supremely sucked in NY. I switched to Cingular (now ATT) and it's not perfect but is so much better than when I was with Verizon. Any my iphone still works when I visit my family in AR, but their Verizon and Sprint phones do not get very good reception here.
