Shopping

If I wanted to go shopping in little shops and boutiques, be it clothes or housewares, sort of like 7th Ave and parts of 5th Ave in Park Slope, but perhaps more plentiful, where in BoCoCa would I be headed? Thanks!

  • Obviously, Smith St - tons of boutiques - clothing, jewelry, designer glasses, shoes, etc. I recommend starting at Swallow (http://www.swallowglass.com/c_aboutus.html) and heading North towards Atlantic. You'll hit home decor shops, the Brooklyn Indie Market, Area (Dr. Hauschka, Jurlique and other organic beauty products) and my fav place for jewelry whose name escapes me (across from Brooklyn Bead Box). Have lunch in the back yard of Robin des Bois or at Bar Tabac.

Parts of Court St. - start a few blocks from Atlantic and head South - Diane T, Rapisarda, Stumptown Coffee at Cafe Pedlar, or margaritas at Lobo, etc.
