Yep. Google doesn't pay anyone to "post links" or need anyone to do anything like that at all. Their spiders follow existing links... why would they need to create more?

Clever, too, how they post some fake comments talking about how great the program is, then disable comments "because of spam" so nobody can post real comments about how they were ripped off.
