Nieghbor just got robbed.

These types of robberies have been happening for almost a year. The ones I heard about were that there are underage kids breaking in and only taking ipods and laptops...not cash or other items. Many folks don't lock their windows to the fire escapes and it isn't that difficult for locals "in the know" to scope out the backyard and shinny up the fire escape. I have also heard of "inside job" type robberies where the front door was jarred open...the same apartment, same building, twice!!!

Thats 3 times my building has been busted into within the past year.

Actually, if we really want to get technical, they're "burglaries."

No matter how you spell it or call it, this just plain sucks.

I hope you have insurance and you should talk to your landlord about getting bars and if he doesn't want to pay for it, and you like your apartment, consider paying for it your self, it ain't that much.
