questions about deleted post

Hey, didn't I see a comment by Rosweed earlier on this thread. Where'd it go?

Comments

  • In fact I recall that the comment wasn't too complimentary about a post made by a moderator. Is this the new gestapo at work?
  • Capt. Planet,

I didn't see the post in question but I will ask what became of it.

If a post has been deleted it's usually due to somehow violating the site rules (you know, like spam, personal attacks / name-calling or other mean-spirited provocation etc.)

Perhaps whatever it was was deemed to run afoul of the overall "Be Nice" site rules and was deleted as such.

Even if a good and reasonable point was made in the comment, if it was couched in other unacceptable language and rhetoric it might be subject to deletion.

Or it could have been a simple mistake, who knows.

But I have no idea about this one, so I'll find out.

Thanks for asking, definitely worth checking into.
  • One quick question...from which thread was his post deleted?

    Thanks
  • It was probably a personal attack or language that violated the site rules.

    Here are the rules:
