in Red Hook. Somebody told me that it was near the fairway market. But he doesn't remember on what street. Has anybody seen city transit buses parked in an outdoor yard around there? thanks!

  • Perhaps you're seeing Bob Diamond's collection?

  • Here is a picture of the buses in the yard. Anybody seen this before in Red Hook?

  • The busses are parked in a lot on Beard Street between Van Brunt and Dwight Street.

Thanks a lot, that is next to Ikea. The reason why I asked is because I am on a hiring list for the MTA as a bus operator, still about a year away before they reach my number. They use those type of buses for training, I know I can probably find somebody who owns one but they are most likely out of state. I know that they wouldn't let me drive the bus, just want to sit in the drivers seat and get to know the bus a little bit.

Exactly. Well good luck!! Maybe you can get some pre-bus action! :)
