If I recall correctly, James is nicely air conditioned. I think Franny's is too.

the last time we were at james, it was hot inside, but it was only the cusp of AC season, so perhaps they have something now.

we ended up there. they had the front open but also the air on (tsk, tsk), but it was cool enough (and cheaper than james).

in a related story, i have caved and allowed the gf to install our window unit.
