i Sold it on Ebay
Is the iSold it on Ebay store on Flatbush Avenue closed? I am *finally* cleaning out my parents' basement and have a ton of stuff to sell, and thought it would be easier to drop off there (The Brooklyn store is/was the #1 ebay selling store in the country) and have them take the pictures and do the listings and whatnot - it's a lot of movie posters, collectables, etc. that I have no idea how to price. I went by yesterday and they were closed. Today, I tried to call and their voice mailbox said it was too full to take a message. Any idea if it's closed for good?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I cannto say definately but anecdotally, I have not seen it actually open for some time now.

I live on that block and am pretty sure they are no longer in business.

I collect some movie posters, lobby cards, stills, and memorabilia and would possibly interested in some of your items.
I've never sold any of my small collection, but I have purchased a few things from Heritage Auctions and you might consider contacting them about auctioning some of your posters. Their website is www.ha.com -
hm...thank you. i have stupid things like a Spinal Tap movie poster, all 3 Spinal Tap action figures, the Spinal Tap lunch box, etc. and then the Clue movie poster and the Clue movie picture book and etc. I have like "sets" of 1980s movies apparently. i guess i may figure out ebay on my own. but thanks, architecture biscuit..i will look into them as well.

That place would make a great restaurant, I sometimes miss the old city lighting dinner that was in the burrito bar space.

City Lighting had a really good burger, and I was there more than I've been to Burrito Bar. I wish it was still around instead as well. -
