Another impromptu bike ride?

My face is new!!
I'd be down , if ya'll would do it earlier in the day (4pm) and hook me up with a bike.
-
I'll call you next time we do a daytime ride, Em. You can use Mrs. C's bike.
-
Thank you , BFF.
-
been running the park lately-
not as bad as you might think, really. -
How'd it go? I was enjoying too much of a good thing when you rang - even if I would have been back in BK in time, I wouldn't have been in any condition to ride. I'll keep an eye out for the next time!
-
Ditto. Sorry, C, didn't get your last text until this morning.

Subject: Anyone up for biking tonight?
Hey it's Mike. That's Beaverhausen's friend to the three people who probably remember me from Sunday's BBQ. Anyone up for a ride tonight? I'm heading out to the park now, but would be up for later too. Or if you see me on my bike just flag me down. I'll be the only one with a red hat. -
I remember you! But I am not biking this eve. Moug might be into it, I think he's riding home from work at the moment
-
I might be into it also if it's not too late. My track record shows that I'll fall asleep around 11pm, ride or not.
-
Wow, someone remembers. Well, I'll come back and check this later to see if anyone is interested. Time for my sunset Omega Man ride.
-
I might be up for a ride....that would make 3 days in a row! But I have to know fairly soon if we're going, since I disassembled my squeeky bike, and need to fix a flat on my other bike if we're going to ride.
Going to grab dinner now, but 10 or 10:30 would work for me. -
I'm back. Is a ride going on tonight? If not, I'm also up for rides Sat and Sunday night. Yeah, I'm in high demand.
-
We seem to be light on participants, so maybe stay tuned for Sat or Sunday night.

I remember you, but I worked until almost midnight tonight and will likely do the same tomorrow. I could potentially do a ride on Sunday night before J'Ouvert. -
What time do you have in mind for that? Would we be riding at midnight, then go to Franklin Park or somewhere along those lines, then go to J'ouvert? That's not a bad idea. Probably beats going to bed early and getting up at 3.
I may be in for a ride tonight, but don't know for sure yet. -
Saturday or Sunday night is fine by me.
Also, for future reference and before it gets too cold I'd like to throw out the idea of a weekend afternoon bike ride-picnic on Gov's Island? -
Right up my alley. This has already been suggested before but nobody stepped up to organize it.
The good thing is that people can show up without a bike there and rent one for free when they've reached the island. -
Yeah, i love that place. No cars, and free hammocks. It's kinda like a little bit of heaven in the harbor. Maybe we could set it up for next weekend. Tomorrow would be great, but it's probably too short notice.
-
I am out for next weekend definitely...if that matters. I know most of us won't be able to do Saturday for sure. On Sunday I'm doing the Century Ride, wanna join?

I'm game for the Century. Though i have no desire to ride all 100 miles. Probably no more than 50 for me.

Are you doing the full 100 mile option?

Me? 55 miles

I'm going to try to do the full 100. I'll make the decision when I get to the 75/100 split. If legs are still strong, the full monty.Julius Orange wrote: weekend afternoon bike ride-picnic on Gov's Island
Yes - great idea!Carnivore wrote: I could potentially do a ride on Sunday night before J'Ouvert.
YES!! I'd really like to go/experience J'Ouvert! I stumbled upon some pre-parade pan playing (is that the correct term??) yesterday and it definitely put me in the mood for this. -

Call me. Christina and I are definitely going. We'll probably head over to GAP at a little after 2am. -
Which poses the question, should there be a midnight ride followed by one/two pre-J'ouvert drinks?
-
I am most likely in. A refreshing dark and stormy at weather up seems like the perfect pre-jouve drink
-
I like that I will be able to bike home after J'ouvert. I don't like Weather Up though, their beer selection is not great, and too expensive.
-
If you get beer at weather up you're doing it wrong
-
Unlike you I'm evidently not in touch with my feminine side

Uhhhh, I haven't been in touch with your feminine side either ...
