cyclist run over on van brunt URGENTLY needs 1st/garden apt

A friend of mine got run over by a SUV while riding his bike just over one month ago and needs a place to live ASAP as he is being discharged from the hospital. Ground floor preferred but he is able to walk up a maximum of 12 stairs. He is on the mend with a broken femur and leg so the easier it is to get into the apartment, the better.

One bedroom or studio. Up to $1200 a month, possibly more depending on the space and location.

Red Hook is absolutely preferred but due to the time sensitive nature of his needs, adjacent neighborhoods will be considered.

Please call Robbie Giordano directly at 718-630-8030. He is an amazing person and I have been asking everyone I can think of. Maybe you could, too?

Thank you!

Kiki

  • that sucks. I broke my ankle recently and was so thankful that I live on the first floors (up about 10 steps on the front stoop) and had a backyard (one step down) to sit in every day. Sadly, that type of money won't get you anything close to what I have here (in Windsor Terrace). Good luck
  • we are moving out of our ground floor/garden level 2 bedroom in Crown Heights. We have lived here for two years and have really enjoyed our place but are moving out of the country. We are vacating November 26th, 2009. The homeowners placed the advertisement on this site:
