Hello Brooklyn,
We’re a group of artists waiting to be discovered and making a living carrying boxes and couches up and down stairs. The phone rings, but no book deal, record contract or movie roles have come in, so I guess we’re still available for moving.

We have box-trucks and a van, moving blankets, dollies, hand-trucks and tons of experience. Whether you’re moving one couch or your entire apartment we can help.

Hourly Rates (At month ends/beginnings we have flat rates.):

1 man and the van: $45 an hour (2-hour minimum)
2 man and the van: $65 an hour (2-hour minimum)

1 man and the box-truck: $55 an hour (2-hour minimum)
2 man and the box-truck: $75 an hour (2-hour minimum)

Out of state moves and end/beginning of month moves are booked at reasonable flat rates.

    I found out that I had posted my old rates for the box-truck of $50 and $70 an hour, which are actually no $55 and $75. I have now corrected. Sorry to those customers who had the unpleasant surprise at the end of the gigs. No subterfuge intended.

    We also offer flat rates, for those who want to know exactly how much a job will cost ahead of time. As noted above, flat rates are actually required at the end of the month and for out of the city moves.

    *Possible Date(s) and Times of Move (Try to list as many as are possible):
    *Starting Address:
    * Elevators or Stairs (Flights?):
    *Ending Address:
    * Elevators or Stairs (Flights?):
    *List and estimated sizes of Furniture:
    *Number of Boxes (Sizes in inches and number, roughly – Note: Wardrobe boxes are a lot bigger than book boxes, so try to be as specific as possible.):
    *Other (Bags, appliances, random):
    *What is the parking situation at each address? (Commercial Only, Alternate Side Street Cleaning, No Standing?):
    *Any other important information (Move in times for buildings, very fragile/heavy items, etc.)

    Note: Please be as accurate as possible. While I understand that it is sometimes hard to estimate before you pack, underestimating dramatically could be a problem, and could also require an adjustment to the price quoted.
