Affordable hotels/lodging in or near Park Slope?

Not a lot of hotels around here, but the two I know are the Holiday Inn on Union and Hotel le Bleu on 4th Ave. Both are acceptable locations in my opinion as far as safety. You just might have to walk a little to get to stuff (not that far, but it will be cold so dress accordingly).
I would guess the Holiday Inn is cheaper.

Thank you! That helps me get started. At least I know they are in the right vicinity.
Any more suggestions are also a great help. -

if you're open to a B&B rather than a hotel there's
Bed & Breakfast on the Park: http://www.bbnyc.com/
Sterling Bed & Breakfast: http://sterlingbedandbreakfast.com/
& probably others -
Thanks, thanks and thanks. You all do a great job with this community board.
I looked into the b&bs - the only problem for me is that they all seem to require at least a 2 day minimum. So I think I'll go ahead and book the Holiday Inn Express. A little pricey but still better than I'd find in Manhattan, I think, without the commute.
I'm coming in from Philly to see a band called The Twilight Hours at Union Hall. These guys have been in the music scene for many years as Trip Shakespeare, Semisonic and other less-known incarnations. They are fantastic musicians starting out their newest venture, sound great and I can't believe they are doing a show in Brooklyn for $10. Value city! Check 'em out at www.thetwilighthours.com and come on down to Union Hall on the 11th.
Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
