Matilda the spotted cat needs a home!

Meet Matilda! Matilda - too cute! She recently showed up on my neighbor's doorstep and when the door opened, in she went, and in she stayed. The neighbors can't keep her, though, so we need to find a home (foster or adopter) for this wonderful, funny girl.

We have had Matilda spayed and fully vaccinated, and she tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She is a healthy, energetic girl, around 1 year old. And clearly she has been someone's pet before...Matilda enjoys being held She loves to be held, petted, and played with. (running up and down stairs has been a most enjoyable novelty in recent weeks!) Matilda on the stairs
Matilda gets along well with other cats but could also be a single cat. If you want to learn more about her or meet her, please call 917-701-0968 or PM me here. Matilda deserves a lap, a shoulder, a couch, a window, and some love and hopes to find some soon as her time at the foster home is RUNNING OUT!
Can you help? Matilda - spots like a cow.

  • Very cute girl.

(disclaimer: the flexi household is currently at maximum cat-pacity)
  • Matilda is still on the lookout for a permanent home! She is a lovely lady - affectionate, playful, and silly - and her foster people have a limit to how long they can continue to care for her... :(

She would make a wonderful companion to you and your other cats! She would also be just fine on her own. Call 917-701-0968 or PM me if you'd like to meet this darling girl!
  • Please update this post so we know if we can un-sticky. Have you tried all the foster and adoption options? On the Sticky of this Pets Board I have my reference list:

But there are many more! Keep at it, update your craigslist posting, petfinder and send fliers to you pet stores. Good luck!
  • Matilda has been in a foster-to-adopt situation for a couple of weeks now and it looks like it's working out for her. I think the woman will adopt her, so I bet it's safe to un-sticky Matilda. Hooray! Thank you!
