Subject: Gettin' Hitched

Hey All!

My bf and I are doing a courthouse wedding next week. I had read online about the renovations to the manhattan courthouse wedding place, and it sounds nice, but we'd like to get hitched in Brooklyn if we can.

Has anyone seen where the weddings happen at the courthouse on Joralemon? What's it look like? Pictures would be appreciated.

we got married there last month. I got pretty dressed up my husband wore jeans and sneakers. We did flower and our family came. It is super 70's deco.... I loved it and have pics on fb you can friend me if you want to see them..... Good luck and don't forget to get the license a couple of days before

Lexie - I remember they had a really colorful wall or stained glass sculpture - is it still there?

yes it is and it was so much fun to take pics in front of!!! you don't have a lot of time though, they get you in and out! There is also a guy who sells really cheesy bouqets on the steps (they look fun). And you can also exchange rings so make sure you guys have them ready... any other questions feel free to ask.

OMG I had no idea you could get married in under 5 minutes! I LOVED my city wedding! I can't believe I have been forced to sit through hour long services when you can get hitched so fast! In fact, I might resent all of those family members that made me sit through hour to two hour long weddings just to get tot he reception. NOT COOL!
