I was lucky enough to break my iphone screen this weekend. It still works but the screen is badly cracked. Does anyone know a good place in Brooklyn that would repair for a decent price?

I found a spot on 8th and 33rd in the city that claims they could replace for 70. However, I'd love to find a place in Brooklyn than heading into the city.

Any ideas, thoughts, leads would be appreciated.

    There's an authorized repair spot on 7th street (?) between 4th and 3rd Avenues. I would give them a call and ask...

    FYI - they don't do screen repairs. They claimed you have to go to apple store.
    I hope that is not true.

    I live with two IPhone/ITouch users that have had the same damage and in both cases they were told by Apple, no repairs, only replacements at cost.

    Don't know of repair in Brooklyn, but I've heard several success stories from a friend about Dr Brendan in Manhattan (East Village)- I think it cost $85 for the screen repair.

    i heard of that guy as well. I will look into him. I believe due to warranty the apple store may just replace it (fingers crossed)

    The electronic store on flatbush and pacific (next to the furniture place) has a sign in the window saying they repair iphone screens.

    Subject: Park Slope iPhone Repair

    Hey, the Park Slope Weatherman fixes iPhones for $20 (plus parts). He fixed my screen for $35 total -- It was done in less than an hour!

    I met him at his place, he greeted me with a smile and returned with my iPhone as good as new! Great guy, great service!
