SO What neighborhood is Woodruff/St.paul a part of?

I just wanted to know what area is woodruff/st.paul is a part of we are not quite flatbush, not quite PLG? Are We? Also there have been alot of new residences in the area and I would like for us to somehow meet one another. During a recent post from hawthorne street (blog) It looks like a few individual would be into it.

  • Flatbush in general or possibly East Flatbush, specifically.

It's south of Prospect Lefferts (SW corner of which is Woodruff & Ocean), and too far north or NE of Caton Park the one block stretching south of Caton, beneath the playing fields).
  • I've heard that area referred to as Prospect Park South, but I'd bet that most residents refer to it as Flatbush.
  • Dude, your Jeannie Pepper avatar is messing with me.
  • BrooklynNative, check your inbox.

Edit: Were you the one who wrote the email that inspired the post on that blog?
  • It seems as if everybody is just as confused about the naming as me. I have heard Prospect Park South and Flatbush, along with PLG@stella I did check my inbox and am currently in the middle of sending a message to you. And yes I am the one from the hawthorne blog.
  • FWIW, I used to live on E 21 between Church & Caton & I always told everyone I lived in Flatbush. Now what real estate agents may call various areas is a whole other deal.
