De-stinking couch w/ nonremovable cushion?

Ack, a 4-month-old guest who left behind some baby shit on (and a bit soaked into) my couch. After thoroughly soaking it with Nature's Miracle (the pet odor remover) there is no lingering stain and I can only detect the odor if I really try, but I want it GONE GONE GONE with no trace remaining!

Limitation: I can't remove the cushion from my couch or the stuffing from the cushion and I can't take the couch outside.

I've heard plain white vinegar is a good treatment, and that's a smell that won't kill me as long as it goes away within a day or two. Wonder if anyone has experience using it in a situation where you basically have to pour it onto your couch and let it is. Do I need to dry it with a hair dryer? Mix it with anything? How much is too much? Is there a better cleaner I could use?

I would not use heat (hair dryer). That might really set it in.

If you try vinegar (or any other liquid) or the area is still just wet from whatever, put baking soda or maybe even salt on top of the wet spot to draw up the moisture and hopefully some of the stain/smell. Then vacuum the powder off. This keeps from rubbing it in further. I've done this for liquid spills with decent results but I'm no stain-removing jedi

My mom swears by Resolve, but that's only good for breaking up the stain. I'm a firm believer in using baking soda to soak up after spraying with whatever cleaner. Let it sit for a long time before vacuuming it up, and you may have to then add more powder but it helps a lot.

I don't know how well salt works on other things but I know it's great for soaking up red wine. (Again, vacuum to remove it, don't try to sweep it up.)

Try using more of the Nature's Miracle and letting it really soak all the way into the cushions. At my old apartment, my cat peed on the rug in the landing and while the NM took it out, I still would get whiffs of it from time to time. Then I went back and read that you should really let the NM soak all the way down to the rug padding and give it 2 weeks. I did, and it worked. I really soaked the damn thing - never smelled it again

Cut the vinegar 50/50 with water. apply then put down some baking soda on top to soak it up, let that dry and then vacuum up

OK, plan Flexi it shall be. I just took the spray top off the Nature's Miracle and poured it on the couch. Who cares if my dog objects to the big wet spot?! He's left his share of wet spots and has no grounds to complain, dammit!
