Awesome Couple needs to sublet a home for 4 months!!!

Hello there

!

My husband and I are desperately seeking out a 4 month sublet (september - december 22nd). The maximum amount of rent we can afford per month is $1100 (that includes utilities). We know its not much :? but we would be happy with a studio apartment, our biggest concern is safety and accessibility to a subway.

I go to Parsons (the new school) and this is my last semester which is why we are in such a pinch!

If anyone can help, we'd really appreciate it!!!

Hmmm...That is not much money budgeted for this area, but you might try a couple of B&Bs (Lefferts Manor and Sophia Inn) and see if they could give you a long-term package, lower than their usual rate (which is about $120+ tax per night, I think). Good locations and LM provides breakfast, but not sure about Sophia). With your requirements being in a somewhat non-touristy timeframe, maybe this could work out for you. Best of luck and great that you are about to finish school! (Google "Park Slope Bed and Breakfasts" for othre possibilities.)
