Help us find our cat!

While my wife and I were out of town, our cat Durga crawled out a window between 8/27 and 8/29 early morning while being watched by a cat sitter. She's a small, white and orange shorthair, about 7 pounds, very timid, and probably hiding out in the neighborhood. She has extra toes on her front paws. We've posted fliers all over our immediate area, near 6th Ave and 22nd Street. We miss her so much and are worried sick.

most cats after escaping rarely travel more than 2 houses away from their home. Check Around your house often. Usually they are hiding, and scared, but dont give up. Check at animal control. to see if someone brought her in.

Thanks tsarina. We're posting notices and sending emails to some of the local rescues/shelters. And we're going to go out tonight and look around more after dark. This is really tearing me up! We were gone for two weeks and all we were looking forward to was coming home and cuddling with our cat.

Is it mostly orange... like an orange tabby? I'm trying to remember where I saw that kitty this weekend. I'm thinking it was on 8th ave and 7th street. Can't remember exactly where.

Can you check the pic on my first post and tell me if that looks like her? If so she's gotten much further from home than we thought! She's pretty small, and bright orange. I can post more pictures if you need to see them. Thanks!
