Subject: Movie shoot for David Gordon Green's The Sitter
Walked past approx. 20 trucks this morning, all around 5th Ave and Prospect Ave. DGG and Jonah Hill were headed towards the hall on Prospect b/w 5th and 6th. Spoke to a gaffer who said the shoot will continue for the next 4-6 hours.I'm fairly new to the neighborhood, but I was wondering: how often do they actually shoot films and/or tv shows in the area?

The Sitter was in the area a couple weeks ago, too. So according to math, like once every 2 weeks.

This is the first movie shoot I had seen in South Slope for ages. Sometimes they shoot television series, but it's usually in Park Slope proper. Flight of the Conchords and Bored Death spring to mind.
