Overslept today and didn't get up til 8. Poor Samantha has to be out the door by 6:45
Well now she'll go into school with Kevin. He starts later and he's sooooo thrilled to have to walk with Samm......lol

Morning All -
Hope everyone had a good Halloween! I went trick or treating w/my great niece and nephews - one of my little guys Ethan was too sick to go - poor thing has a 103 temp. I couldn't believe the number of people out in my nephew's neighborhood! I wasn't home so I don't know how many kids came to my house - I left my candy outside w/a note. It was gone when I got home (good thing too otherwise I'd have to eat it!)
Debbie - don't worry about oversleeping - remember the old saying - better late than never!

Teachers r in kids home
Mia and I r here we are both still sick. Just running out to vote and tonight St. Frances Cabrini is having a mass for all souls and all that were buried from that church. Soooo we re going for Mike's Mom. -

Nice and cold out - bundle up when you go to vote! I'm glad election day is here cause I can't stand all those commercials for the one-worse-than-the-next politicians. And the phone calls, and the door bell ringing. What an annoyance.
Joe - glad to hear you're feeling better.
Terry - Margaret just mentioned it was time to get together. She's busy this week - let's see if over the next 2 weeks we can do it otherwise we'll run into Thanksgiving.

Thanks to all who showed concern upon my brothers passing and for the Memorial service held on Saturday. It went very well. His three children attended and took part. My eulogy contained a lot of stories about our growing up in Brooklyn. My Brother Dave was a life guard for many years in the Prospect Park YMCA on 9th st. He went to Manual (as I did also) and swam on the team there. He went to LIU and played on their varsity Soccor team. Late in life he was ordained a Minister following his retirement from teaching. He used his ordination to bring comfort to the residents of the Independent & Assisted Living places where he spent his last 7 or 8 years. Quite a guy.
I am still recuping from the first eye cataract surgery. Going on a cruise next week to forget all our troubles. Will have second eye done December 1 and hopefully regain my balance. Right now I feel like a Cheshire cat with two different eyes seeing two different things!!! :-({|= -

Well in a couple of hours, my daughter will officially become a "Homeowner", she is closing on her house today. I wish her all the very best and the best part, I FINALLY GET ALL MY CLOSETS BACK!!!!!!.
