    Thanks for all the good wishes for my daughter....

    My brother in law is coming home today!!!!! Lets hope his numbers stay as good as they are and then sometime in December he will go back for the bone marrow transplant.

    Oh how I wish I was cuddled up in bed! I haven't left my desk since 8:30 this morning!! Who knows what time I'll actually get to leave. With year end coming they push us to the limit. I'm eating lots of crap (and then wonder why I'm so heavy - ugh). Really - I'm to old...

    BTW......they are really trying to shove christmas down our throat already!!!! 86th Street had the christmas lights up before halloween and yesterday at Kohls they had christmas music playing.....it's not cold enough yet!!! lol

    I have bad disks in my neck too. I'm not sure if they do the cervical injections. It has never been offered to me so let me know if they do so I can ask here.

    OMG could not get on and had to find the friggin password they gave me years ago with letter and numbers so I never remember it. Here we go again, different format and where are our photos. I hope they are not lost cause that is my photo with Donnie just before he passed away and I have a new hard drive and do not have that photo....

    Hi Anthony, I'm able to pop in for a minute before family dinner to help with the video thing.

    Here's my reply to your post about it on the "what just happened" thread earlier:

    There's a new way to handle it for the moment. We can probably add the old functionality back as well, pasting the HTML code like you usually do from YouTube etc.

    At the moment ALL YOU NEED IS THE LINK TO THE YOUTUBE PAGE, not all the code as before.

    How-To:

    1) You click the "video" button in the message posting box

    2) Then you paste the link to the page on Youtube.com

    3) Then you click the "video" button again and it will look like this:

    [video*]
    (just without the * asterisks after the word video that I put in so you could see the text result instead of it actually showing the video, as I have done below)

    4) Then you click the "Send Post" button as usual

    The result will look like this:

    [video]

    Again, we'll look into making the other way (pasting the code as you usually do) work again as before too.

    Hi Patsy,

    The best way is to type out what you want to type, then select/highlight the word(s) you want to bold or underline or whatever and then click the appropriate button.

    It will automatically insert the formatting tags, one before and one after the word(s) you have selected.

    Probably best to do the same with images and video...

    Paste in the LINK to the image or page on youtube.com, then select the whole link and click the video button (for videos) or the IMG button (for images).

    Hope that makes more sense.

    It may take the first couple of days of fixing and adjusting various things in the new site here before we can make sure that it works as similar as possible to how it did before the update.

    Thanks for your patience. The updated version of the site is much faster, far more secure and much easier and lighter to run than the old software running the prior (now very outdated) version of the site.
