I found where they were getting stuck and released them.

I will monitor it to see if it continues to happen.

Anthony, just to give you an inside look, this was not simply a case of leaving well enough alone or messing with something that ain't broke.

It was old, outdated code that was totally insecure and fell over all the time.

It was in dire need of major upgrades in security, overall stability, speed and other things.

Please understand that the issues you are encountering, which I agree really suck and are a major pain for many people, will be resolved and life will move on with this much more stable, secure version of the site.

Thanks again for your patience, and please know that we feel your frustrations right alongside you and have been working 'round the clock to get through the long (and growing, ha) list of things needed to restore things to as easy as they were before.

On the bright side, at some point this will all be over and just a big joke.

I NEED VIDEO

There's actually a pull-down thingy near the top of each page here right under "DAILYSLOPE (Brooklyn Back When)" that you can select to do this permanently.

It's the "Get Alerts:" pull-down menu where you can select "Instant email notification" to get an email every time there's a new post in this thread, which would really fill your email inbox since there are a lotta posts every day in this thread, but that checkbox at the bottom would always be checked.

Or you can keep it set for "No, don't subscribe" where it won't send you an email every time a new post is made here, and the checkbox at the bottom will be left unchecked as you are seeing it.

Sometimes we have some things down while we're working under the hood. :oops:

We found that the add-on we installed for the real-time preview (that would appear above the post box buttons here) was having problems after people typed symbols like ampersands ( & ). If the developers don't have a new version that fixes this we might just go back to the preview button that brings you to a preview screen like before.
