Came home yesterday and did not have anything. I felt like Laura Engels from Little House on the Prairie.

They just finished. No service for 24 hours. No tv, phone or internet. Mike and I just looked at each other and said what the hell are we going to do. How the hell did I grow up in the 50's and 60's. lol I guess what you did not have ,you did not miss....

Michael is better, Mia so, so now Tracie is at the doctor with a lump I think in her throat or near her ear. I can not keep up....

Friggin cold out there....

Hi everyone-Warren-you made me laugh...did you ever live in Chicago? How did you know about mid-Westerners wearing shorts & t-shirts in frigid weather? It was 11 degrees the other day & coming out of the grocery store there was a kid who was wearing shorts & a t-shirt!!! MaryAnnL-glad you're on the mend...Big game tomorrow between Bears & Packers (they are arch-rivals!!) Although I'll be shocked if the Bears win-then they'll go on to the Super Bowl...will go into work tomorrow for a little while..keep warm everyone..talk to u soon..........

Anna- We have been living in Sun City Center for 13 1/2 years. If you look on a map of the interstates you will find that I-75 runs from the North Mid-West all the ways to Miami. On the way is Sun City Center and a lot of Mid-westerners came down I-75, got this far and stopped. They represent the largeest single population group here. I have observed them, befriended some of them etc: They are a different breed from Northeasterners. In Many ways. One is their insisting (especially snow birds) that it is always warm in Florida despite the realities. We have had a very cold December and January this year and last year. I do not think half of them bring long pants and a jacket with them from the mid-west. They love going home in April and telling their neighbors & friends "I did not wear long pants or a jacket the whole time I was in Florida." My friend, 28 degrees is cold no matter where you are. Granted it does not get as cold here as in the North but it does get cold especially when the summers tend to thin your blood. Plus half the people here are on blood thinners like Coumadin. Thin blood makes you feel the cold a great deal more intensive. They also do not know the meaning of a STOP sign, do not know how to use directional signals and they think Ronald Reagen should be on the pictures of the last supper. But I manage to live with them and basically keep my thoughts to myself. So much for the mid-westerners.... ](*,)

I should have written this yesterday but wanted to say "thanks" to all for the get well wishes!!! I'll be out of work for another couple of wks., the pain is terrible, I can't even drive yet or do certain chores around the house, too much wear and tear on my arm.

We're expecting another storm Tues. night, what gives with all this bad weather.

They just had a newspaper article re: HS kids not wearing coats, etc, it all points to "being in style" and looking good. LOL So, they rather freeze, I guess they don't feel the cold!!!

Just posted and lost it.

Jim Greer passed away, Santina's husband. They both were at the reunions. Marie Crispino also was at both reunions.(Santina's sister)Festina and I went to the wake today in New jersey she is Festina's cousin from 21st street.

Now My son Michael is sick. Tracie also has something wrong with her ear or throat but can not do anything about it with the pain and medicine cause she is pregnant. It never ends....

We celebrated my nephew Mario's birthday and his grandma's birthday. He was 11 and she was 89 in December.

Everyone is watching football but not me don't understand and don't watch it. lol

Bundle up and get ready for a new storm...

I cant believe how cold it is out there. The heat and dry air is really doing a number on all of us. Had to take the

hubby to the emergency room the other night at midnight cause he couldnt breathe. They gave him stuff for asthmatics and Im starting to wonder if he is allergic to Max. Hmmmm ....Im gonna keep that dog for a long time...lol.

(just kidding)

Terry Im so sorry to hear about your friend passing. I think I remember him from The Reunion...so glad he got the chance to see his old friends. Hope Mia and the family is feeling better soon!
