    I stopped in to say hi to Sal and ask after everyone at the deli - everyone there is fine and all they know was that someone got shot.

    The ole' Brooklyn 'someone-got-shot' shrug.

    A guy accidentally shot himself in the leg.

    A Prospect Heights man accidentally shot himself in the leg while horsing around -- then was arrested on a gun-possession charge.

    Henry Nehru, 44, was in his third-floor apartment at St. Johns Place near Underhill Avenue at 11 p.m. Thursday when his gun discharged. The bullet lodged in his left calf, sources said.

    Doctors at Kings County Hospital expect him to survive, the sources said.

    Nehru's rap sheet shows more than a dozen arrests, sources said.

    If he'd shot himself in the upper leg, he might've hit his femoral artery, in which case he might be a contender for the Darwin Awards.
