Patsy, It is a good thing I am 1200 miles away or I would be over for Corned Beef & Cabbage. I love it. Had some St Patty's but after a few days I am craving it again.

Hi-rainy,cold & damp here today (and for the rest of the week)..Patsy-I have to agree-everyone on Facebook can stop & say hello-that's what the blog was created for right? Seems like just a handful of people left on here..it's a shame..I know people are busy but it was nice seeing different people on here every day...hope people come back soon........maybe things will get better by tomorrow..I certainly hope so..will be here tomorrow.........bye

Hi Everyone,

Haven't been on much the weekend, we are painting the office and my husband had to unplug the computer.

I guess I should of helped him paint, instead I decided to clean the top of my kitchen cabinets where I have some nik nacs. So I was just about done and there is one spot that I could never reach (right above the refrigerator) so since my husband had the ladder out, I decided to get on the ladder so I could reach better. So I had one foot on the counter and the other practically on top of the refrigerator and when I was done I started to get down, missed the ladder and when flying on my butt (actally it was the top of my leg) I couldn't even move, I thought every bone in my body was broke.. my whole left side is black and blue....thankfully I did not break anything, but I am in alot of pain today, sitting all day.....every once and a while I have to get up and stretch....

Well hopefully everyone else had a better weekend then me....LOL LOL

Peek back later, time to get up and stretch.

IT WAS GORGEOUS HERE ON FRIDAY, HIT 85, HAD THE A/C ON IN THE CAR ON THE WAY HOME. LOL WAS NOT SO NICE OUT YESTERDAY, TOO CHILLY.

WENT TO CHEESECAKE FACTORY FOR LUNCH ON SAT. AND MY DAUGHTER...ALL OF SUDDEN GOT SICK SO WE HAD TO BOX UP ALL THE FOOD AND LEAVE, HAD TO HELP HER HOME AND WATCH THE KIDS WHILE SHE SLEPT IT OFF FOR A LITTLE WHILE, MUST BE A VIRUS.

MY FRIENDS IN UPSTATE NY AREN'T TOO HAPPY WITH SNOW TODAY.

Oh ye of short memories... A couple of months ago I listed one of the reasons that so many people were missing from the blog was FACEBOOK. I even mentioned that I knew someone who was on the verge of divorce because of something posted on FB. Be careful what you post anywhere. It is all public record. I entered Carol's Mothers name in Google and got back the entries I made on this blog about her passing and even some of your responses. There is NO PRIVACY on the internet. I have been asked to be a "friend" on facebook by many people. Some I never heard of. I just delete the request and move on.If you enjoy FB-so be it. Just a word to be cautious as to what you post and do not forget your friends on this blog... =;

You're 100% right about no privacy on the internet Warren - it's amazing the amount of info you can get on someone. Scary.

Judy - feel better - you could have been seriously hurt - stop cleaning - it's not good for your health! Take some advil and keep stretching. I'm not capable of doing what I used to do - it bothers me so I try to ignore it. I had a cleaning lady for a long time but she retired - she couldn't do it anymore either. I really need to find someone else.
