Patsy, AI was good last night, I have a feeling that one of the girls will go home. I'm trying to catch up on my shows, still trying to watch Apprentice and DWTS, I'm having to DVR.

Judy, I know what you mean!! I find that I can lose if I don't eat anything after dinner, that's my downfall. I like to eat light during the day and exercise really helps even if I walk in place in the house.

it's one of those misty-rainy days here again, very gloomy although I do see people sitting outside eating lunch!!

Hello all. Terrible storms here today ALL DAY. Thunder & Lightning, tornados is some areas not far from here. Several inches of rain. Flooding etc:. We (Carol & I) are safe & sound. Did get to the Cardiologist before the worst hit. He was quite satisfied with my condition and thinks the medication has my A-Fib under control. I think I saw Terry's condo building flying by here!!!

Anthony. I have had several different treatments on my eyes. I did have Laser surgery to open the tear ducts.-Little to no pain. I was also treated for Holland Horse plaque-Thats right a Horse in my eye. That is when bits of plaque from anywhere in your body break off and float through the blood stream until they get to an area (like the eye) where the veins are so narrow they get stuck. It causes some lack of field of vision. They have hopes that between my Coumadin and Lipitor it will eventually desolve them. The last operations I had were for Cataracts.They disolve the cataracts formed over your eyes and implant lenses on the iris which improves your vision greatly. If it were not for my stigmatism I would not need glasses at all but anyway the ones I have now are 1/4 as thick as my old ones. Through all these procedures I suffered little to no pain. The Cataract surgery produced NO pain, the Lasik Surgery just a slight discomfort. During the Cataract Surgery they put me into a light sleep & I saw little to nothing. They used an Amnesia Anethstesia so you wouldn't remember anything if you do see or hear it. Good luck & I am sure it will work out fine.. 8O

I did not fall off the ladder cleaning the top of the cabinets. Just have to put shelf lining on one side of the litchen and we are done with that job.I used the Shark Steam cleaner to get the grease on the cabinet tops near the stove.... :compress:

ANTHONY MY BROTHER VINNY HAS TO HAVE SURGERY ON HIS EYE BECAUSE HE DEVELOPED DIABETIC RETINOPATHY. IT CAUSED A BLOOD CLOT (SORRY) TO DISLODGE AND HE LOST MOST OF THE VISION IN THAT EYE. THEY ARE WAITING A FEW MONTHS AND THEN THEY WILL DO SURGERY TO REMOVE THE CLOT AND HIS VISION SHOULD COME BACK. ALWAYS SOMETHING TO WORRY ABOUT.

Terry, Yes, it was that bad in Florida yesterday. Did not dare turn on the computer until late last night. We did not lose power but many did. Not just downed wires but roofs blown off, trees blown down, some onto building roofs or cars, flooding in many areas. Tornados in several places. They left the weather on the local news channel (Channel 9) all day and into the evening to keep people up to date. Clearwater ordered cars off the road at one point. Many roads blocked with fallen trees. Good old Florida HORIZENTAL rain was in abundance. St Petersburg got hit with the winds and heavy rain but I am not sure if there were any Tornados there. They reported 2 1/2 to 3" of rain in St Pete. Some areas had 4-5". This all in addition to plenty of rain Monday & Tuesday. The Tornados went right along Route 60 from Brandon to Bartow out to Polk County-Lakeland etc: No loss of life reported but damage totals expected to be very high. There goes the insurance rates again. We are already redicuosly high in property & condo insurance. Main thing is we are fine and had no damage to our home. Have to go out in a little while and I will see what the rest of the town looks like.... :shaking2:

There were also Tornados north of the Bay Area. .

Happy Friday and April Fools Day. Are you all getting snow today, gonna be 60 today and windy. I watched the new show "MOBBED" with Howie Mandell, wow, something else, I loved it, it had my shaking!!! Glad Paul is safe too, good show last night, Fantasia was good.

Also, took my hubby out to eat for his b'day, they had balloons at the table and he even received a small cake!! We enjoyed it!

They showed Kingston, NY on the 7 am news this morning reporting the snow, they even interviewed some people. I grew up in that area over twenty yrs. ago after I moved from B'klyn!!!

Hello-gloomy outside today...cousin in New Port Richey said it was bad weather down there...heard about snow in the northeast this weekend..weird weather!!!watched A.I.-love Pia and glad Naima went home!!..also watched Grey's Anatomy..don't like musicals so I thought it was dumb to have them sing in the middle of an operation!!! T.G.I.F.-watching Justin tomorrow night so will talk to everyone on Sunday...have a great weekend.......bye

Warren - Glad you did not fall off the ladder like I did LOL what I do on the top of the cabinets is put wax paper down, then all you have to do is change the wax paper and it keep the top of the cabinets from getting all greasy.

I don't know about anyone else, but I thought Grey's Anatomy was so stupid last night....It was such a good story, but the singing was so distracting....they should keep the singing to the cast of "GLEE"....I couldn't make out who was singing or who was talking..... however, glad Callie didn't die....

Well leaving work early today, have an Engagement Party tonight.....
