Artists' studio tour of Sunset Park... suggestions for post tour dining?

Hi Folks,

We are giving a tour of 4 artists' studios over near 36th st on Oct 23rd. Our post tour drinks are going to be held at Melody Lanes Bar... But our tour goers often want suggestions on where to have some Sunday supper. Any suggestions or unique places we should recommend? Tacos, Bahn Mi or anything else??

    Tacos: Matamoros is a local fave at 5th b/w 45th&46th, as is Eclipse on 4th ave b/w 42nd & 43rd. There's also "Maria's Bistro" (an outpost of the Park Slope restaurant(s) at 5th and 39th, right by Melody Lanes.

    Banh Mi: Ba Xuyen (8th ave b/w 42nd/43rd) closes at 6pm so probably not an option

    There's a tiny but delicious and very friendly Turkish place Kofte Piyaz, on 5th b/w 38th and 39th, also right by Melody.

    Thanks for the suggestions!! The Turkish place sounds interesting too.

    Funny enough Rosita we are having our group meet up at green fig.
