Call of Duty: MW3 - Dorito / Mountain Dew Game Fuel — Brooklynian

Call of Duty: MW3 - Dorito / Mountain Dew Game Fuel

So, MW3 hits the shelves three weeks from now and Mountain Dew and Doritos are running a "Game Fuel" tie in that lets you accumulate double xp time to use in multiplayer. Has anyone seen them in any Brooklyn stores?

  • More interesting in Skyrim. And the new Assasin's Creed game. And, eventually, Mass Effect 3.

  • Assasin's creed is going to be so awesome.

  • I'm excited for Skyrim too. I'm hoping that Bethesda fixes Oblivion's issues, like the horrible scaled leveling system, lackluster pc interface, repetitive use of voice actors, etc. Daggerfall (although incredibly buggy) and Morrowind (even with all the walking) were so much better.

Aliens: Colonial Marines (Spring 2012 release) is looking pretty sexy too.

  • Since my son loves these games what is double xp?

Believe me once I tell my son he will find the stores that are participating :)

Well, as you play the multiplayer portion of the game (i.e., against/with other players through an internet connection) you steadily gain xp (experience points), which allow you to unlock new perks (guns, skills, etc.) to use in the game. So this promotion lets you earn twice the amount of xp that you normally would in the same amount of time, allowing you to unlock perks twice as fast.

The leveling did suck, yes. But in all the pre-release stuff I've come across on Skyrim, the advancements seem to be on a whole new level... 70-80 voice actors (as opposed to like 16! in Oblivion), better leveling system, easier and more graphically driven supplies/spells inventory interface, etc.

    Can't. Wait.
