Hey Joe, I told my Doctor I was a little hoarse. He looked in my throat and said I had a "COLT". Right now the allergies here are brutal. Going through boxes of tissues like crazy!!!

Hey Anthony, now that you can see well again you can probably run over a few more of those yuppies on 5th Avenue. Speaking of 5th Avenue. Did the merchants put Christmas lights up from one side of the Avenue to the other???? I hope all the stores do well and pass on some of the profits to their workers...When I was a kid working in the Palace Meat Market, across from Germains, our boss gave everyone a Christmas bonus. Even the lowly delivery boy like me...In all my adult life the only bonus I ever got was when I worked part time as Circulation Manager for a weekly paper. When I was a Letter Carrier many of my patrons gave me a tip and it sure helped make Christmas better for my family. That is one of the drawbacks of going into management. No more tips and no more O/T. I was retired 19 years in October. Except for health problems, it "aint" a bad life. Speaking of health, Carol has to go for another Endoscopy tomorrow at the Manatee Surgical Center. Her Gastro Dr. wants one more look before he sends her to a top gun Dr. on I.B.S. :santa:

Carol came through the endoscopy well and they did find a problem. It is not the answer to her whole IBS problem but it gives the Doctor a reason for her other digestive problems. They found a "Paraesophageal Hernia." It contained undigested food and he removed or pushed most of it on its way. We will now have to consider whether she should have surgery to repair it. Doctor wants to wait until after the Holidays and then discuss it. He is anxious to see if the removal of that stuck food has helped her any.

Hey Joe, are you sure tha your neighbors are going to be as happy as you with the new drums? How well can you control the volume on those electronic things?

Okay Anthony, what kind of trouble has your new eyesight gotten you into so far? Don't forget, it is okay to look and admirer but do not touch unless you are allowed... :santa: :bigsmurf:

Warren, unless I Play Them Through an Amplifier, they are almost completely silent. the only sound you get is the stick hitting the drum or cymbal, which is like drumming on a rubber pad...just a little tap tap tap....

Hello All, Carol & I just took a ride around our area with our Golf Cart. Some of the lights were great. Other areas looked like a tomb. It is amazing how much change takes place from neighborhood to neighborhood. Between Illness, deaths and people moving back near their kids, there is quite a turnover in our senior community. We also have jerks like me who is just not up to decorating like I used to. I have about 15 boxes unopened in the garage full of inside and outside decorations that I did not put out or up this year. Carol is watching me like a hawk and will not allow me near a ladder. By the way, not to scare you younger people but yes, many seniors spend several years in a senior community and then when their health starts to fail, they move back near or in with their kids. It is like the empty nest syndrome in reverse.... :santa:
