Great. So nobody knows nothing. I think it's a hush hush type of nail salon mixed with a bar and a restaurant and a record studio all in one and I am sure it'll be wild.

I think most of the confusion comes from the fact that there are believed to be TWO storefronts, very near each other, being renovated.

So far, we think one will be a recording studio and one will be a restaurant.

...the one that we believe will become a restaurant is further along: It has been painted light green, and a nice tiled entrance has been constructed.

Any updates on this spot? Someone has started sleeping in the vestibule area at night (outside by the door) and is leaving bedding there during the day. What's the deal? I'm talking about the nice green one with the new windows.

According to my local sources, which are tight, a local St John's resident was set to move in earlier this year. The plan was for a casual Italian restaurant. But they've subsequently (apparently) gotten some cold feet. Thus the inactivity. Went by the other day and saw no bedding, however. Perhaps I'll check again tonight...
