Fire on Park and Washington

Danae, looks like there was a fire at the Dawn Laundromat at 754 Washington Avenue between Park and Sterling, around 5:15. There were about 60 firefighters on hand. This is the third fire on Washington Avenue in the past year.

Man, I used to live right next door. Glad no one was hurt, and I really hope there wasn't too much damage to their business-- those are some nice guys at Dawn, crowded and unmanageable as their laundromat may be.

I heard that all tenants were able to return, and that the damage was confined to the first floor laundromat.
