My thoughts and prayers go out to the Taglianetti and Catalano families for the passing of Maria Taglianetti Catalano. Another Angel from 22nd Street has gone to Heaven. Maria was the sister of Alan & Phillip Taglianetti and the wife of Billy "Two Gun" Catalano who we lost just a few months ago. Keep their children in your prayers.

Spring has sprung!!!

It reminds me of school days in PS124 on 4th Ave between 13th & 14th Streets. I went there, Carol went there.My Brothers & my Sister went there. Carol's Mother, who passed away at 96 years old went there. It still stands tall and is being kept up by the City of NY. The reason I remember it in the spring was because of Arbor Day. We all would gather outside the school in the little grassy areas that were left and planted seedlings for trees. I have no idea what happened to the ones that were successfully grown but the intent was to keep things as green as possible. On my last trip to the Slope I noticed that all the streets had plenty of trees along the sidewalks. Maybe some of the trees that we planted on Arbor day are there???

I am here, I am here. Don't give this blog up please..I have been so busy with the kids and problems with my tenants...I got to sell the house. They smoke in the house. It is so bad and not only cigarettes.. Big problems....

Hope all is well with everyone...Will be in florida next week and thank God for my kids. Got to get house sitters now. Used to be dog sitters and babysitters now House sitters. lol

Yes and so deeply saddened with the passing of Maria. I just went to Billy's funeral and she ids gone one month later. So sad. She was a funny girl. Always made me laugh when I was in her company...Did not see her for many years until Billy's passing. May she rest in peace...Life is crazy...Must enjoy it as much as we can. Love and Miss ya all...

WE HAVE KNOW THE THE BRIDE'S FAMILY SINCE SHE FOR OVER 20 YRS. THEY ARE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING IN AUGUST IN MEXICO..

NATALIE &KEVIN ARE BOTH IN THE BRIDAL PARTY. OF COURSE,

ME & GINO & TONIANN & JASON WERE INVITED, BUT WE ARE NOT

FLYING TO MEXICO.. THEY WILL HAVE ANOTHER PARTY IN NEW YORK

AT A LATER TIME FOR ALL OF US WHO WERE INVITED IN AUGUST

TO THE WEDDING & CANNOT MAKE IT.

Happy Palm Sunday to all.

After Church Carol & I visited a friend who is in Re-hab. We brought her some Palms from Church and the Bulletin. When we got there we bumped into two men from our Church who were bringing our friend Communion. Our Church will do that if they know that a member is in a Hospital, Nursing home or Re-Hab joint.Our friend is an old Park Slope gal who went to our Church on 12th Street and married a guy from the Church. After many, many years of non-communication they ended up buying a house about a block & 1/2 from us here in Sun City Center. We had them staying with us while they house hunted. She had an operation on her Colon and ended up with a deep infection. That is why she is in re-hab.

Judy, what does that 4 letter word W O R K mean. If I make it, I will be retired 20 years in October of this year!!! Patsy, I will hang in there with you but it would be nice if some of our "deserters" would at least say hello once in awhile. I am like you. Never have been on Facebook & have no desire to do so. By the way, how did your hubby make out with thst Yankee test I gave you? :-00

Hope every one had a good Palm We did. Unfortunately my sister's mother in law passed away yesterday morning. She was 90 and I just saw her last week and she was fine. No matter how old your Mom is, it is still a big loss...I feel so sad for my brother in law.. On a good note...Tonight I am going to see Mia at dancing school for a little Easter recital..

Suzie: Where is your mother, which nursing home. How is your father handling it. I'm sure not well, but it is the best for both of them. He needs to catch up on his rest. I never get to see your sister to see how you all are doing.

Donna thanks so much for caring! My Dad had no choice but to go along with what my Mom's Doctor ordered! He wants her to get stronger and not forget how to sit in a wheel chair and move her hands like she used too! We are all there with her every day anyway. She needs to be spoon fed puried food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. I missed 2 mornings in 3 wks and she didnt get to eat. They dont have the time and patience to spend just on her. They really dont! As far as getting info from my Sister....please remember there are 2 maybe 3 sides to every story. She wants 100% of everything my parents own...just because she feels she put in more hrs with my Mom than I did. I dont know where she's been for the last 7-8 yrs!

Give your little ones a hug from me! How's your granddaughter's wrist or arm doing?
