New Coffee Shop at the Kingston-Throop Station
Noticed it this morning. It's called PS Cafe, at 10 Kingston Avenue, between Fulton and Herkimer. Sign says it's coming Monday, will be open Monday-Saturday 7-6, and will have Lavazza coffee, French pastries, bagels, and free WiFi. Looks tiny but cute.

They have a website that features a photo, but nothing else yet:

And that photo is definitely not of their shop.
It must be just a placeholder. I was going to be impressed if that was a new coffeeshop on Kingston....
I've already stopped in a few times for my morning coffee and bagel, and I am so happy with this welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Everything is very reasonably priced, they use a good quality coffee, and the bagels are a denser, slightly chewier type that I haven't been able to find since moving to the neighborhood. The owner is a friendly guy who also runs an art gallery in the neighborhood - someone that makes you want to come out and support him and his business. If you live anywhere in the area, I highly recommend stopping in and giving the PS Cafe a shot!

Looks like the one on the website isn't a placeholder but an actual pic of the place, looks nice!

PS Design Cafe, at 10 Kingston Ave., will close its doors in August to find a new location, its owner said.
The cafe, owned by local artist Pablo Sue-Pat, regularly lined its walls with artwork and featured coffee and pastries.
Sue-Pat confirmed that he gave three month's notice to the building's landlord in order to focus on an upcoming exhibit at his 2ACGALLERY and to find a new, larger location in the neighborhood for the cafe.
