Franklin Avenue (at Myrte) in Bed-Stuy, are you ready for this big development?
Currently a vacant lot, 168 Franklin Ave. was purchased for almost $8.5 million in 2011, according to public records, and will soon house a roughly 80,000-square-foot development, with 118 "high end residential units," according to the website of developer Adam America Real Estate.

I don't know if many of our readers have walked around that area recently, but this will be a game changer....

That is most definitely a game changer for that part of the neighborhood.
Also of interest is the fact that the Budget Rent-A-Truck on the corner of Park Avenue and Hall Street has closed. I can't help but think that the lot is going to get developed into some sort of upscale residential building.
Howdy, Stranger!
