  • If I could figure out HOW to post the pics, I would. My cats are beee-yooo-tee-ful
  • I have better pix of mine, but these are the only ones I can post now from my ancient little iBook.
  • Aubrey looks likes he's in charge.... cutie!

    How d'you upload pics?
  • For these I used VillagePhotos image hosting: http://www.villagephotos.com/
  • ok, am loading into iVillage......and then what?
  • paste the img HTML tag into your post
  • ummmm.....how's this?

I never really learned how to get the links to work properly....

Two of the girl, two of the boy.

The girl is being blow dried after she fell into the tub (while I was taking a bath).
  • aawwww, too cute!!
  • Flexi - they're gorgeous - specially Stella who looks like a little fluffball.

I'm giving up for tonight - i keep getting a message that my file is too big.. and too computer-illiterate to work out what I'm doing wrong.
  • I love the StellaSunshine pic.
  • Stella's name is Stella Marie, or Estella Maria.....she has sooooo much personality that she needs at least two full names.

    She's also known as:

    La Terrorista
    Stink Butt
    Bumblebee
    Stinky Maria
    Fuzz Butt
    Stella Maria the Bumble Bee-ah
Tiny Bubbles (sung like Don Ho)
    Stinky Bubbles
    Chi Chi Monkey

Jackson is my man. His full name is Jackson Aloicious (which I don't know how to spell.

    He is also known as:

    Boy Boy
Da Man (or He Da Man....You Da Man)
    Jackie
    Jack-son (Cajon way)
    Jah-kee-kee
    Mister Mister
    Mister Man
    Mister Softee
    Love Monkey
Chew Chew (because I tell him he has to chew his food)

I'm well on my way to being the single old lady with cats. I can feel it
  • I am digging all of the kitties, but Lucinda looks quite beautiful

She's not all that furry, but she is very soft. And quite the personality. She has CATITUDE!

I love all grey kitties. Ah, who am I kidding, I love all kitties.

    A few of mine ...

    Aubrey
    Pookabear
    Pookiefeet
    Mistaire Pukido
    Mister UpsideDownHead
    Froggy Butt

    Lucinda
    Miss Kittyfingers
    Miss Mountain Lion
    Otter Girl
    Miss Happypaws
    The Little Princessa
    Miss Cutie Cupcake
    Cupcake Butt
    Stinky Butt

    Wanda
    Wanda June
    Mousenose
    Bunnypaws
    The Lady Bunny
    Ethel Merman
  • I'm especially laughing at "Ethel Merman". I used to call my other girl cat (the one who died (no) thanks to 5th Ave. Cat Clinic) "Lola Falana".
  • Lola Falana! Oh, that's a wonderful cat name.
  • laura wrote: Lola Falana! Oh, that's a wonderful cat name.
That wasn't her real name, but she was called that on a regular basis :-)
  • Here are Alafair and Lupita making out. Alafair is the calico - she's the cat I had to put to sleep a few weeks ago. Lupita is the kitten, often also called "cerdita".

  • Awww, how sweet!

Lupita looks similar to my Lucinda? The bottoms of her feet are all black?
  • I love when my cats get intertwined. How sweet! Once my kitty died I got Stella.....a bit quicker than I expected, but she's a great companion for Jackson. Maybe you'll think about getting Lupita new pal one day.
  • laura: yes, her feet are all black! they are certainly related!

flexi: I'm thinking about getting Lupita a pal. but for now I'm working on getting to know her as a single cat, and letting her develop her own personality.
  • alafairnadia wrote: laura: yes, her feet are all black! they are certainly related!
It looks like she has the same shape feet and toes too as my Princess Blackfoot.

I made a serious omission of one of Aubrey's nicknames - Circus Boy! I was reminded when I went into the kitchen and he gave me the special look that means he wants to leap into my arms from the floor. He also leaps onto my back when I bend over ...

Ooooh....you reminded me that I call Jackson Circus Bear. He stands on two feet for his treats every day.

Not to be outdone, Stella Maria fetches over and over (and over) and drops her "present" into my water glass. She will get indignant and "talk" to me if I'm taking too long or no longer interested in playing fetch with her.
  • Here's a picture of the WWF Kitty Cat Smackdown when my other girl was alive and well:

    Picture #2 fro m 4/28

    I love the SOMC website
  • Lupita likes to play fetch with one of those super crinkly, foil toys. but she always ALWAYS drops the damn thing right before getting back to me. and she gets irritated when I stop reaching.
I have like 10 of the damn things under my pillow - she brings them to bed and I grab them and stifle them under the pillow. too loud. whenever I change my sheets, she gets them all back for like 20 seconds.
  • One more, back when Phanny Banany Lola Falana had her 15 minutes of fame on Mycathatesyou.com

    http://www.mycathatesyou.com/cats/search/phantom/2015

If I ever don't post for a few days, have somebody check my house for 108 cats feasting on my dead body :o

    Edit: fixed link

I had a 'Circus Bear' myself, my cat Stanley! And he fetched his favorite toy, Q-tips.

Lucinda is a great fetcher of plastic jingle balls, and very serious about it. Unfortunately Aubrey has a thing for la femme sportive, and just when she's in her stride he pounces to do the wild thing. And she is SO not in the mood.
