That would be so adorable! No pictures of Stringer?
  • Berkeley loves to play and make new friends...we need to work on not stealing his friends' tennis balls, though...he's not great at giving tennis balls back yet.

Grafxiguy: that photo is too funny.
  • Attempting to post a pic of my miniture Burmese. He's really a bc/gsd mix but I hear burmese (burnese?) probably once a day. He loves the snow and this was his first!

This is the "why are we standing still in snow?" look.

  • So, so cute!!!!!!!

    Did you just get him?

February 1st. But he was my folks since 8 weeks so we knew him pretty well. He went from being a yard dog (in a huge yard in the south) to our apartment and is definitely happier being a house-dog, and only dog at home.

My brag, he's a mouser!! We actually thought the mouse problem was under control until he caught one this week. I was so proud. He kept on the mouse trail for hours looking for a new one after his catch was taken away.

nah, i dont have a digital camera.

adorable! i'm guessing people are saying "bernese", btw, as in bernese mountain dog:

  • I hear burmese AND bernese all the time, but I never until now looked it up. The latter seems to be correct, though there are pretty serious websites dedicated to both spellings.

My dad sent me a picture of him when he first got him and he was just a little fluffball and the first thing I told him was that it looked like a bernese mountain dog and asked him if he was sure of the parentage.

There seem to be tons of them in the area...so cute, but so big :)
  • posting spree...sorry!

I read some more. Burmese are supposedly a much rarer dog than the Bernese, which are apparently elated to Swiss farm dogs. All kinds of weird info about skunks and such
  • i LURV bernese dogs, but i read that they tend to die really young. :(

someday i'll have a dog again....

Do you have photoshop? If you don't I do and could hook you up or you could email them to me and I could resize them and send them back to you. I know there are other free image editing programs but I'm not familiar with any of them.

Upload them to photobucket.com. They'll automatically be shrunk to 800x600.
Or check out my post from Ask Brooklynian on how to resize a picture using html.
  • Even though this looks like they're in jail, Stella (on left) adores going out. As soon as she hears me unlock the door, she comes running. Jackson (right) cried like I was torturing him the first 2 times, but then he started becoming more comfortable the last time

grafixguy, how did you get that perfect shot? That little curled pink tongue and the look on his face are priceless!
I was trying to take a closeup pic of his tongue but the camera wasn't set properly so I ended up with that shot.
  • O M G, flexi, that is too freaking cute! They make the most adorable couple and Jackson's eyes are beautiful.

grafixguy, I think that shot is even better. You lucked out on that one, I need to save that to show to my mom so she can squee over it too. :)

OpossumQueen, what a cute furry face, I love the eyebrows!
  • Grafixguy, I love the avatar, too.

Here's my similar shot of Jackson. I should caption it "what is this crap you are trying to feed me?"

OMG happy little meows. They are all like, "love me, feed me, adore my furry belly!" Who can resist!!!
  • So cute, LydiaBrunch! I want to stick my face in Dolers belly and be the middle of a Dunphy & Giles sammich!

Flexi, you are going to have to post a larger pic of Jackson making that face. I don't quite believe he is that damn cute, nah ah, must see a bigger pic.
  • your wish is my command, Caseo....and yes, he simply IS that cute :-)

    image
  • I stand corrected. After careful analysis of the larger picture of Jackson I've discovered that yes, you're damn right, he is that cute! I love the tongue and how Stella is completely uninterested in the entire thing. He almost looks like a stoner in that pic! :D
  • Thanks Mamacita & Caseopele! Giles is sitting on my lap as I type this, though I will stop short of claiming that he is reading your comments. :-)
  • Flexi your guys are so adorable!

I love their outside play net. They look like they are scheming there.

Thanks, Stacey. They're such good kitties...both from shelters. I'm sick as a dog right now and they're such good comfort. If they're planning anything, it's how to get more treats :-)

I love how many great animal pics we have here
  • Hope your feeling better Flex.

Here's a video my son put together of our Rocky

  • Stacy - he's soooo cute! I know if I had a camcorder, there would be no end of funny videos (or at least *I* would think they are funny).

I love how he's called Rocky and it almost looks like he's punching a speedbag
  • hee hee  that is ridiculously cute!
  • That is adorable! And that video is just great, your son did an awesome job!
  • Not to be left out, my "rental doggie", the fabulous Deborah
