  • OK. So how do you prove the Bible is true? Give us some examples.

First, find someone with a very weak mind to "prove" it to...
  • Now, now folks, 1st Amendment rights here!?!

    (whether I agree or not)
  • OK, let me be clear here. I'm skeptical, but I'm not trying to be disrespectful. Examples, please.
  • Um, lostingreenwoodheights, the First Amendment doesn't apply to privately-owned forums, only government ones.

That said, I don't have any problem with this post. Not into the whole evangelical thing at all myself and won't be going to the seminar, but it IS a neighborhood event. So I don't see any reason why it can't be posted here.

    This.
  • Yep, have to agree. Regardless of what YOU think is right or not to post on this board, nothing wrong with anything above, my 2 cents...

Though the battle between the fast food clowns is sick...MY OPINION!
  • The Burger King is not a clown, and if you say he is, you'd better watch out for him.

And while you're at it don't let Carnivore catch you calling his sock pupp toy a llama!
  • I would think that god would find it pretty boring if there were unequivocal proof that 'the bible is true.' Where's the faith and fun in that?

I agree. the folks I know that are true believers don't believe. they KNOW. but they can't provide proof -- it's an issue of faith, not conclusive proof. I don't have that faith, so I don't have that knowledge. It'd be nice if the OP could provide some of the missing links - it'd help me comprehend my friends a bit better.
  • For me, the bible is a book written by goatherders, for goatherders. I can't believe anyone still refers to it. Anyway, good luck with the indoctrination.

I can't believe there are still archaeo-modernists about who trot out this argument against scripture -- it's as old as God's'doG.
