Stray Cocker Spaniel - Found A Happy Home!
Last month (March 11th) we found a stray cocker spaniel wandering around Flushing Avenue in the navy yard.
After spending 3+ weeks at the Brooklyn ACC shelter waiting for a spot to open at a cocker spaniel rescue service (Abandoned Angels) he is now back with us.
Ziggy, as we've christened him, is an adorable little guy but like all cockers he can have his totally random psycho-billy freakouts. He was neutered before he left the shelter so with every passing day he starts relaxing more and more as he gets use to our schedule.
If anyone is interested in adopting a very loyal, very smart and friendly cocker spaniel please go visit the Abandoned Angels website. (For some strange reason they list his name as "Bobby".)

Subject: Please Make This A Sticky
Any chance our good moderator could make this a sticky for a week or so?
We would really appreciate it. -
We have a happy ending in our search for a loving family to take in the stray cocker spaniel that we found.
I am pleased to announce that we are now the proud owners of a second dog. There are still a few trust issues to deal with but overall he's a very affectionate, loyal and smart dog. I think it's criminal that his original owners simply abandonned him.
How did I know that it was always going to end up this way?
Ah well, we're better off for having taken him in. -
Yay! And good for you for giving Ziggy a loving home.
Howdy, Stranger!
