Any suggestions for where to go for a great deep tissue massage
at a reasonable price?
Thanks.

  • I went to Element Salon on 5th near Prospect. It looks like a nail place, but it also has massages, facials, etc. Great deep tissue massage. I also love Opal on 5th btwn douglass and degraw.
  • I would love for someone to come to my house - for a massage for myself and my husband if you find anyone like that will you ask them to post their info here?

I have also heard good things about Opal but never went. Was was the time/rate they charged (if you dont mind me asking :) )
  • Stacey-I know someone who lives in Prospect Heights who could possibly do a massage in your house. I am pretty sure he has his own table.

Opal is a great deal--70 minutes for $85 and it's a really relaxing and nurturing environment.
  • I've gone to Sage twice and loved it.

When you check with him can you PM me and pass along his info?
  • Opal is the best - they really know what they're doing, and they do it well. They're more substance than style, as opposed to other places that look really fancy and flashy but have mediocre massages.
  • I'll second Opal, although I haven't been to the other places.

Stacey, if the above referal doesn't work, I bet you could call there and get hooked up with one of the people that works there that has a table for out service.
  • Thanks for the great recs. Opal sounds perfect & I'll keep Sage in mind too.
  • Element's massage guy knows what he's doing. I've had both deep tissue and hot stone massages there.

On every occassion, I have left with a grin that couldn't be diminshed for hours, even with single-digit temperatures outside. (In my relaxed mind, I was in the tropics. And it was magical.)

Great idea. I have an appointment for myself for next weekend
  • Hi all! One of my clients spotted this thread and recommended I post. I am the best massage therapist in Brooklyn, I make house calls, and my prices are extremely reasonable: $75 for a 70+ minute session at my place, $90 if I come to you. I also have package deals. My phone # is (718)768-3236; details and references on my website,
