Seeking Studio in PH/PS — Brooklynian

Seeking Studio in PH/PS

Hey all,

A good friend of mine wants to move to Prospect Heights or Park Slope and live in a studio. She's hoping to pay $800-$1000. I've tried to explain that she miiiiight not find something in quite that range in Park Slope, or possibly even PH, but she's insisting (she's very sweet, just stubborn) :)

If anyone knows any apartments like this, please PM me!

Thanks!

  • You can definitely find something for that in Crown Heights. I haven't seen anything for that price in Park Slope. You *might* could find something in Prospect Heights, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Good luck!
  • Yeah... the problem is that she specifically only wants PH/PS, not at all in CH (for the record, I'm in CH)! I'm trying not to burst her bubble but... ah well. Thanks Daver :)
  • she probably has to pay atleast 1200 to 1300 for a studio in ph.
  • if you can find one
  • Who is safety for women in Crown Heights? Do you live in a studio there? Is living alone ok?
  • my brother's fiance had a 1 bedroom in a house in windsor terrace for under $800 a month until about 8 months ago... i'd head over in that direction if you're looking for something affordable
  • in kensington, ditmas park and midwood one could probaby find a studio or a junior 1 for around 1000, and a one bedroom for 1100 and up... just a thought.... people need to realize that brooklyn isnt just park slope (and as someone who grew up outside of park slope, it just annoys me that people dont realize life exists outside of manhattan and the slope!)
  • Subject: i have a studio...

    i am vacating sept 1st

    1,150

its actually a RR 1 br but only 275 sq ft. really beautiful, just too expensive.
