Sometimes, when I turn on my comp. i get a signal telling me that www.brooklynwifi.net is available to wirelessly connect. Anyone know what that is? Where it comes from?

Can you give us a general location where you are? Will help to figure it out. Also is it an open access wireless connection (no security)?

I think they are a subscriber based WiFi service that you pay for, but I'm not certain.
