Can anyone recommend a good tailor in the area??
Looking for something a little more impressive than the dry cleaning places.

I've been happy with the work of Tony at Mi Montuno (810 Washington b/t St. John's and Sterling). Super-fast, too.

thanks for the tip about the tailor. i heard good things about him but he does not seem to be answering the phone. do you think i should just head over there?

I've never tried calling him, but he seems to be in the shop fairly late in the evening if you want to pop in.

i didn't have a good experience with him. i had to leave him a 50% deposit, which i've never had to do anywhere else. i went by there 3 times before i was able to pick up my stuff (all during 'business hours'... but it seems like he's never there). and he did a crappy job on the hem for a pair of jeans.
