1/2 inch.
I really don't want this snowstorm. -
Bring it on... I wouldn't mind beating December 2010 / January 2011 - The famous one where the plows were hanging out in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot.And garbage - They already skipped my garbage pickup on Saturday due to the flurries. Based on the de Blasio administration's history, my next garbage pickup is likely going to be mid-February. I remember the year he came to office; I didn't have pickup from Christmas until January 13th or so, no exaggeration.

Way different story up in ch north. We drove to lowes today and could not cross any of our streets, from brooklyn ave to flatbush, without getting stopped by a garbage truck. It looked to me like they were either catching up or planning ahead.
-
17"for garbage, do you just put it out like normal and let it get snowed/plowed on, to be unearthed in the spring?
-
Latest forecast maps have backed off to a foot. I'm going to put my guess in at 8". Bold.
-
12"However my school has already shut down preemptively for the next two days.

I say 20 inches.Next prediction: which Franklin Ave. business will be open tomorrow? If any?
-
The bars.

Good, good time to be a grocery store owner. I am think of B&Bs and the Key Food on Franklin. Thinking along the lines of hoards of locusts descending on the stores.
-
If you are broke it is also a good time to be the owner of a snow thrower or work for DSNY.The DSNY staff are going to get lots of overtime as a result of this crowd sourced website which tells them where the unplowed areas are:
