Construction for new condo building 90 Sullivan Place

The landscaping in the tree pits in front of the building is a recent addition.
-
I would fear it means the new owner is just interested in making a quick profit, and won't maintain the building.
I wonder maintenance includes snow removal:
....but we shall see.

The pictures above were taken late yesterday afternoon. Even my building had shoveled the sidewalk by then.

I noticed the "LEASED" sign last night. I don't have any additional information yet.

The commercial space on the left has taken a noticeable step to becoming ready for occupancy. It now has roll gates. The brown paper covering the windows has been replaced with white paper.mugofmead111 said:I noticed the "LEASED" sign last night. I don't have any additional information yet.

The new store opened up at the end of last week. It apparently is a little bodega.
-
I went into the store last night. It looks and feels like a regular bodega, but it's shiny and new. It will close at 9 pm on weekdays and a 10 pm on weekends.

the other spaces are still looking for tenants. https://www.agorafy.com/listing/115926/90-Sullivan-Place-Retail-for-Lease-Ground ...https://www.agorafy.com/listing/115924/90-Sullivan-Place-Retail-for-Lease-Ground

A dance place moved in. It was supposed to have hosted a salsa dance on Valentine's Day. I would have liked to go, but I was too tired.

I assume it is geared toward adults with an interest in being social and exercising ? ...I think one geared toward kids would have a hard time there.

As reported on the PLG Facebook group, AbunDance has moved into the commercial space that is by the ramp: http://brooklyn.news12.com/story/37699437/abundance-dance-academy-reopens-in-new-locationwhynot_31 said:I assume it is geared toward adults with an interest in being social and exercising ? ...I think one geared toward kids would have a hard time there.AbunDance got priced out of PLG.
There is a bodega next to the garage entrance, and a storefront church is apparently going to move in next door. (I noticed signage.)

This building seemed to be finally ready for occupancy in April 2016, so it took them almost 2 years to get the commercial spaces leased.
