@Marco555 confused about your logic. Why does it make sense that Franklin and Dean developer who built the good-looking new building, not the one under construction with the Isreali flag, would be doing hotel? Personally I think that's good news. The building on Franklin and Dean tho crazy expensive to live in sure does look good. Dying to know which chain @whynot_31 ...
Woops. I got confused with the buildings. One on NE corner of bedford and EP has the Israeli flag. Not the one thats part of this discussion. So no logic here!
Thanks for pointing out my mistake.
The firm seems to do development, as well as property management.
This lists the properties the firm has developed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoel_Goldman
This lists the apartment buildings his firm manages (or ark east the subset with vacancies): https://www.allyearmgt.com/Home/CMS?id=48
In terms of the hotels, the firm seems to develop them and then manage them.
Capital seems to be raised mostly via the Israeli finance markets.
It looks like construction is about to happen... I saw an additional fence going up around the curb, not sure how that is going to work for foot traffic.
Anyway, assuming they are really starting, i'll go ahead and predict completion in Jan 2019 (just missing a opening for the holidays).
Looks very Europe’s with the arches and a big open air plaza/court yard in the middle. I like the idea of a roof top bar, even though it’s not particularly tall building

Foot traffic is re-routed with the orange barriers. Exactly like it was done with 1519 Bedford across the street, and like it was done with the building at Franklin and E.P.
Did some digging and found some renderings of the hotel on ODA's site. Looks like it will have a beautiful courtyard which can hopefully be used by the public as well as the hotel guests.
