OMG cat in the house.

I few months ago I was toying with the idea of adopting a cat, so last Saturday we got Hazel(nut) here from the shelter. She's smart and was fostered a little, so she settled right in. I wanted to thank everybody for the litter advice, so far it hasn't been a problem whatsoever - I guess the technology has come a long way since my boy Chet gave up the ghost 5 or 6 years ago.

    I didn't, but only because this happened pretty quickly - my wife and daughter were out and ran into the NSAL van and fell in love with the cat - I got called to take a look at her, and I must admit she did a good job of selling herself. Anyway, we took her home, and I needed a litter box there and then - and they didn't have the top-entry model at the store. So far so good with the one we have, though.
