Boy kitty found his home!

He went with his new mom on Saturday and they love each other. She came to see him last Thursday night and he took to her quicker than he took to me. She's also one of my customers at the wine store, I always liked her and now I know why! She's getting him neutered on the 30th at Prospect Animal Clinic. She also really appreciates that he had all of his shots already. I want to thank everyone for being so great and supportive. Please come by Shawn's for a hook-up, even if you couldn't donate. I would love to meet the people who cared about the kitties without even knowing them. Here are some pics of him with his new mom the day she picked him up and there are more on my flickr page. Thanks again!

Yeah, it's the beginning of a serious love affair there! Yay!
  • I got an email from his mom today, he sounds like he's adjusting really well. I miss him more than I thought I would but I am so happy he's found his home!

"Around 10pm the first night, I put him in my lap and
he stayed. He was still nervous but relaxed into it
and loved it. This morning, for the first time, he
jumped up in my lap. Still is awkward at it. I
honestly don't think anyone ever tried to hold him
    before.

He sleeps snuggled close to me at night......then in
the early morning hours goes into his little closet
    cave for a few hours.

Last night he was acting spunky so I got him a ribbon
and he went crazy with it. He also goes wild with the
catnip toy. Then he races back and forth and tries to
climb the door jam (but he slides down because it is
metal.) He is definitely still kitten-like and the
more he relaxes, the more he plays. He woke up today
and after breakfast, was wired for sound and played
alot. It killed me to go to work and leave him."

    Yay!
  • awww thats sweet!
