I always keep my curtains closed when its dark. I think it's because of the times that my friends and I would run around our (suburban) neighborhood at night. You could stand literally ten feet away from someone's window watching them, and they would have no idea you were there. Until you lit off some fireworks or something.
Whenever I'm in a lit room and it is dark outside, I just feel like I'm on display, and at a disadvantage to someone who may be outside. -

My rooomate was on the fire escape this summer and was witness to some guy in the building directly behind us closing the window while masturbating and talking on the phone all at the same time. I mean, doesn't that just seem dangerous? What do you tell the EMT staff? And who are you talking to at 10:30 on a Sunday morning while engaging in that activity?

You guys are getting more attention from them than Park Slope is these days. I'm so jealous.

well, im offended that this person:
NobodyLikesMe says:
Funny, that dude with his junk flapping in the breeze is probably blogging on the excessively long thread about out of control kids. Can we please never hear about park Slope ever again? Pretty please?
got us confused with park slope! psssssssssssh. i don't live in park slope. i live on the other side of the tracks, and i'm proud. -
In Park Slope you see boobies without even having to look out your window. They assault you everywhere--the coffee shop, the organic juice bar, the doggie bakery. Our nudity is far more frightening and public.

I hate it when my boobies run amok in Park Slope.
edit: opps.. boobies not bobbies, screw it, HOOTERS! -

Some people have their Sunday brunch and other people feel it's never too early in the day for phone sex...

Gentlemen, can I get a "Hell, no!"

So, this week's Time Out cover story is "NIGHTMARE NEIGHBORS - True stories of loud sex, rotting corpses and high-decibel debauchery right next door."
-
Talking on the phone + masturbating = phone sex.

i resisted in reading anything on this thread
. i didn't read the thread at all!
but i saw the tittle and couldn't resist for days.
anyway shouldn't penis be admire like the female form in art???? -
so like a week later and still no pics?

I hope the gawker attention doesn't make you all close your shades now. I love looking in your windows. I live across from the Jewish Hospital and, oh, the wonders to be discovered there!
On a side note, my family, also, is straight off the boat European and I constantly forget to close the curtains before getting naked.
and yes- get some pics up here. What a great coffee table book this would make. "White People with No Curtains." -

ahh, I admit to doing that too - not even just brownstones, but any place where i can see the decor i usually peer in!

Ew
i could care less if somebody sees my junk. i'm proud of it. i love being naked. -
Ok... so file this under too much information but I think its funny.
Our ap faces out only into an internal courtyard in our building. I just gave the GF a crack on the ass, in passing, nothing overtly sexual, more just a joke. We have blinds that are always drawn, 24/7 but I think one of the windows was cracked.
Well, upon hearing that someone in an apt either above or below that also faces the courtyard decided to blow an air horn. I mean like, right on cue. Like they were waiting for it. And this is not a regular occurance in our household.
Maybe it was just a coincidence but it was spot on timing. -
Funny this thread came up--I happen to notice that yuppies in general don't have a very strong grasp of the concept of curtains/blinds/shades. Maybe something to do with status/showing off to other yuppies?
Anyway, whenever I walk by a 1st floor apartment all lit up like a storefront window, with some dude making a sandwich in his boxers, I always make a point to stop for a minute and just look in from the curb with a blank look on my face, a la that John Candy movie 'Summer Rental' where the whole neighborhood is walking by staring into John Candy's window as him and his family have breakfast. I mean, if putting it all out there then I guess that's my cue to look, right? 8) -
all I know is when I go to a naked beach on LI or to Sandy Point in NJ, its always white people there.
...so I blend

Sandy Hook, NJ. yup, Gunnison Beach. it's funny to see how many small fishing boats like to cast SO close to shore. -
It's all fun and games until some freak starts standing outside your window watching you and rings your bell in the middle of the night. Then comes back to watch you some more until you get freaked out, call the cops, and let him get a real close look at your 65lb shepherd mix and 85lb black lab mix.

I assume you are referring to the nude beaches, and not caseopele's dogs.

i couldn't agree with you more. the first thing i do when i get home is draw my curtains. if my parents ever come to visit and my curtains are open, they bug out.... black people like their curtains closed.
and sometimes when i forget, i am swiftly reminded that i need to shut them because i see the white girl across the street from me sitting at her puter topless. she's got great new york boobs and all.... but you won't see me giving my neighbors across the way free peep shows!
Sorry, I was wondering what "great new york boobs" were...

great boobs from new york, maybe? FYI, the original poster probably put this up over a year and a half ago so I doubt they even remember this post. Thanks Lo Kee for bumping such an old thread.
